Emily De Young assists clients of all ages in navigating both simple and complex legal issues in the areas of estate planning, probate, guardianship, real estate and civil litigation. In her estate planning practice, Emily employs a comprehensive approach designed to minimize the risk of future disputes.  This includes drafting wills (both simple and complex), trusts, durable powers of attorney (both general and health care), designations of guardians, and living wills.

With a commitment to guiding clients through the often-challenging probate process, Emily emphasizes the importance of having an experienced and knowledgeable attorney by your side.  She regularly represents executors, trustees, administrators, beneficiaries, and intestate heirs.  Emily’s compassionate approach and keen understanding of the complexities of probate law make her an invaluable ally during what can be a difficult time, providing peace of mind through each step of the probate journey.

Emily is also dedicated to representing clients in both contested and uncontested guardianship matters for individuals of all ages. Her representation spans from guiding guardians through court and administration processes to advocating fiercely for the rights of proposed wards.
